The pow wow was originally outside @ the football field. Then it started hailing, blowing, and then snowed a little. Gathering moved into H.S. Gym. Sound system kept going out. As for winner's results, sorry, didnt stay there all night.

thats what u get 4 breaking my heart...

yep, da powwow was good all weekend. It was moved inside the HS Gym it was a bit cramped but nonetheless it was good. All the Head Staff showed, Wes and Acostia were there and put on pretty good specials.

Unfortunately, I did not stay for the winners to be announced but I heard the drum results though.

              Drum Contest:
              1st: R-Krew, Farmington, NM.
2nd: Little Earth, Rocky Boy, MT (I think)
              3rd: Hwy 191, Hogback/Shiprock, NM.
4th: Stone Creek, Red Mesa, UT/Farmington, NM.

Overall there was about 10 drums there, Blackfoot Confederacy sounded good.

              Jr. Joe Memorial Special:
              1st: Spike Draper
              2nd: ??? Cleveland
              others:
              Perry Thompson
              Tyson Draper

              thats about all I remember....

              "Dance me outside...??"
