I emailed a committee member a week and a half ago or so and I still haven't heard from them. Maybe they're very busy or something? I'll try to ask around see what I can get and I'll report back if y'all haven't heard anything yet.Comment

Yeah it's Thursday through Sunday and I, too, hope it doesn't get rained out. It was rugged hot last year---I remember it was so hot and humid like 3 years ago that my braids blew up!!! lol.. My hair puffed up and broke open my hair barrette and I had to re-do my hair all over again---20minutes before grand entry too. But I hope the weather holds up cuz I sho' wanna dance and grab me one of those big crunchy corndogs, when I get one I'll be sure to lu-lu.Comment

Did it get rained out last night? We're supposed to head over there tomorrow and we're wondering if they moved it or if they're gonna dance under that pavillion thingy. The last time I can remember it raining like that during Stroud was back in the 80s I believe.Comment
