  • Any report from Southern Ute Fair Powwow?

Who all made the trip to the 2007 Southern Ute Fair Powwow? Could someone please enlighten the inquiring minds, what drums were there and who all won the dancing and singing contests?

I heard that Pipestone did show.

And first place Northern Singing was Plainsmen
Other placing drums: Rcrew and Thunderhouse

Sorry that's not much. I just heard from someone that went.

Yeah I just got off the phone with my boy that sings with the Plainsman. He said they took it. Wanted to say congrats to Tanski and her mom, Carmen, for taking their categories. Also to Novi for getting in there for third place. Way to go!!!

Wish we could have gone but we were head dancers at another powwow. Sounded like a goot one.
