        Blame!!! It would be great to go to this one, already contracted out at the NC Museum of history that weekend, drum group and all....Wish I knew about it sooner...next year def....

          Yeah it's nice to know about it ahead of time...the hotel books up months in advance so unless you know about it...you end up at the red roof inn. :) I don't remember if there are any other hotels at the exit. But tons just a few exits down further into Tampa.

            the last time I check some weeks ago the Hard Rock was about $400/night. We will be stayin up the road for alot cheaper.

              Yeah I have notice they tend to jack up the rates when something is going on....I think theyre average rate is about 170 or so...Even that's high tho for a place to sleep. I guess if you were gonna spend some time at the casino and stuff it would be a different story. But you could get lucky and hit that jackpot...that would make the high $$$ room worth it. :)

                You know of any good hotels in the area? Good as in fair prices! and not too far from the powwow.

                    There's a few around the fairgrounds, but they are about $65+. I'm stayin closer to downtown and they run alittle cheaper.

                      I haven't been to one of there since Nashville Tenn.When I was about 15.We had a great time.We went to Opryland USA.Everyone was really nice.James Billie was singing his coutry music.Lots of great dancers.Then before that I went to the one they had in jacksonville,Fla. It was neat to.I wish I knew about this one it would have been neat to go to.

                          Josh, keep you ears and eyes open. They are trying to get smoke dance as a category for Tribal Fair. You can go der in February.
