I really don't see what the big deal is with the number of singers registered not matching a the number of singers during a singing contest go-round. I told our head singing judges not to count off if someone was missing.

It will be the drums fault if they don't sound as strong. However, I believe that drum points should count toward a drum's singing ability - not how many singers are present that match the number of singers registered OR how clean their area is!

Is this wrong?

I am not even sure if missing a singer was the reason behind this. Maybe the judges just didn't score them well. I only know that they didn't get in and was just guessing that it might be the reason.

They sounded strong. I thought they'd be in there. I think one of the criteria for points was FULL participation. Minus one guy is not full participation.

Just guessing. Don't know.

aye yeah i heard all about this.stoney creek is like a big group of brothers n uncles to me. so i think its crazii that they didnt get in..but yeah it does make a differenve whos singin and how many guys there are ther r pwz that wont let oyu sing if you dont have a certan amount too....like i said i oculdnt go(stupid school) but i KNOw tha crew was jammin cuz they always do. but there will always be next year!!!

As far as singing contests go....wasn't everyone saying you abide by the rules of the powwow you're at???.....what was the saying???....when in rome....

when I used to sing, we lost many contests or didn't get in, because of someone missing....it was their rules so, I guess it's spilled milk......maybe next time....
