Good luck trying to get a room here, I checked and it pretty much says it's sold out everywhere....i did find one thats going for 149 a night...*L*...I don't think this powwow is worth me spending 150 bucks a night...dont' get me wrong, it's a good powwow and all, just that I would like to have some fun.....

        Pipestone is worth the hassle.

You are right, I would absolutely enjoy seeing Pipestone, love their music, but 150 bucks for a room???...I don't think so, it's just another example of people taking advantage of others as far as price gouging.....I still might take a one day trip there.....paying for gas would still be cheaper than getting a room...*L*

Personally, I have always camped out there. 5.00 a day, well it used to be, maybe 10 now. The only exception was when it snowed really bad one year but from what I heard all the heat and everything was blown so you might have as well camped. LOL. Plus you get to use the showers, pool, and game room too. It's somewhat chilly at night but been warm during the day. So it's never been too bad to camp, we have always had fun. It's better than paying out the wazoo for a room.....LOL.

Or just email me, I might be able to find a room for less....

Damn my room in Vegas was cheaper than Globe. lol... GAWWWL.

I still will go either way, even if it is a day trip. There's always somebody there to help me out. I can't miss when homeland bros come to sing in the southwest.

                    rooms vs camping

We reserved a room in globe about 2 weeks ago for this pow wow and it was $89 a night, lots of places were sold out already though. I honestly don't know that many pow wows that are even worth $89 a night, LOL!!!
It really does suck that little towns like this raise their prices for their rooms when there's an event in town, the same thing happens at Indio.
I didn't even know they had camping here...is at the RV park or where?
