I was jus wondering if anyone knew who the head staff was this year at Red Earth. Didnt kno if anyone knew yet or not. If u do let us kno plz?

They haven't decided on the drums yet. I have heard Zotigh, Cozad and Thunderhill were invited, tho. The AD's and MC's are rumored to be the same as last year, too. lol...I know that info is weak right? Just thought I'd pass on what I had heard...Originally posted by Native_Sooner View Post

I heard that, Dakota Hotain and Mina Peyak have also been invited.
What do yall think of the way they have drums set up at Red Earth? I think they should set the drums throughout the arena floor, its big enough. They're all crammed up in the corner. I was Singin last year and it was crowded down there. It would fill more inclusive for the drumgroups and spectators. Iono though, theres probably a reason why there set up in the corner. What are your thoughts about this?

K-Mom: Both are real good Canadian Drums. I know Dakota Hotain is from Sioux Valley, MB. I'm not sure about Mina Peyak.Comment

Some things have changed with the committee this year and it's up in the air if they are gonna have us out to do the webcast.

I am saddened deeply to announce that Jim Anquoe Sr (ma cohn) has disassociated himself from the Red Earth Powwow Committee. It's quite ridiculous the extent of some people's need to acquire self-recognition on this level, to ruin a good thing like this annual dance.
