OMG - only a few weeks away --- I can not wait....for anyone who does not know, this is one of the best pow-wows out there - and I am not just saying that cuz I am kin to everyone there - I am so being like totally for real....*(in my best valley girl accent..)

Ya'll have no idea how excited my family gets when it is pow-wow time....it is pure euphoria to be able to walk on those grounds and see all our peeps - and see all the visitors. Every since I have been a little girl - that feeling comes to us starting like on Wednesday. I have always lived away (born and raised in Richmond, VA) so our family always began preparing early in the week....get giddy thinking about it....Just awesome feeling - come feel it with us....you won't regret it.

Next weekend...woo hoo...

YA'LL ARE CRAAAAAAAAAAAZY!!!! LOL... "did you make his costume?.. no he just owed me a sandwich" LOL.... and tony "bam..bam.. bam bam bam..." and then getting all emotional.... toooooo much! i'm glad i attended last year to be apart/witness of the Great BBQ Sandwich Ceremony....

Thank you my sister - It is emotional to talk about...cry cry cry...but we made it thru....and u may join me, but only if u allow me to show u the fat nut dance that originated at a pow-wow in the va beach area many moons ago - it is sacred - but 4 u - I will share...hey, how's that jingle dress tear away coming along - u know that me and madonna are dying to see it - whip it on - whip it off....lol - Gawd - I can't wait to see everyone - it is gonna be off the hook.....

So far I have heard that Takin' Numbers, Bullrider, 3ndnBear, and a slew of others will be coming - ya'll don't understand - all of us together is DANGEROUS.....how much fun can this be???? Only 2 more days....OMG - YAY!!!!!

powwow after-party

There will be a dance held on Sat night at the doe-spun building from 10pm-2am. OT (and possibly C-Plus), of the Thundercuts will be spinning that night! Come out and have a great time!!!
