*ALL Singers/Dancers MUST be an enrolled member of a Federally or State recognized tribe to particpate in contests, & MUST show enrollment or CDIB verification upon registering.

*We reserve the right to combine categories if less than 3 participants register. This decision will be made at the discretion of the Head Staff & Committee

According to the flyer, which I just read, the prize money for Golden Age Men and Women is the same as that for adults: $600, $400, $200.

You all may be happy to know that They are getting rid of that GD rock and are putting turf back down on the fair grounds and it is SUSSPOSED to be ready by the memorial day powwow.
Also if anyone is coming up and can't find an open camp ground, just drop me an email we have plenty of room up top here and usually have peeps camping out if the yard. camp fire at night and we put up the mess tent.
But we do keep it sober.

PAPPY--whooooooooo hoooooooo that gravel is aweful. I'm so glad that they are getting the turf back. Dang that will be nice again. And then the dancers won't seem so crowded on the stage there at the pavilion either. Although, the bleecher's did make it nice and convinent to sit and watch the dancing and all of the, but I like it better when it's out in the open.

Don't count on dancing on that new turf yet.Just may still be on that stage and dancing on concrete. But I'll try to find out what is what with that.
Maybe Walmart NDN kmows whats up.Now that would be a bummer to have that new soft grass that we could dnace on and then they go and hold it on the concrete stage and we can all get shin splints, eh?

unfortuneately the powwow will be held on the stage...again. it seems that the powers that be are more worried about the paying customers aka white people than they are about the singers & dancers. figures, huh? if anyone would like to complain please feel free to call the following people...

Now that's crazy. There could be alot of things done, but it's hard on the dancers and those of us who are friends of the dancers and try to get close to see. That crowds all of them together.

I thought that they were putting the turf down. Would they maybe have it on the Turf in July? Just asking.lol
