          Update!!!

The powwow will be held at the outdoor arena at the Meskwaki Casino. It is located behind the casino. It will be a good idea to bring your umbrellas. Also, Drum groups be sure to bring your canopies/shades. Spread the word.

Was the pow-wow grounds hit hard by the flooding?

Yes, pow wow grounds is real soggy right now, and slimy. We don't want to go there. It's to the casino concert ground now, but no shade there.

Prob wasn't the casino hotel, I've had only really good experiences there, esp if you get a room in the new tower. Nice facilities, they just need a water park and I'd move in.

This is a good strategy to have it in the middle of the week. My family planned their agenda of heading to Prairie Island, Mesquakie and Horton!
Powwows will continue to evolve in many directions. It is inevitable.
