    Thanks Everyone!

I would like to say Thank You to everybody that traveled here for our pow-wow. It was a great turn out and a great weekend (from a committee standpoint....lol). Thank you dancers, singers, vendors, and spectators!

I would also like to thank the head staff. They did a GREAT job and kept things rolling! I would also like to thank Dale Roberts for providing the sound, at a moments notice. You really helped us out this year and the sound was great!

2008 was my last year serving on the pow-wow committee. I have been on the committee for the last 4 years and will not be back next year. It is A LOT of hard work and hopefully I served my time well.

You, your sisters, and the whole committee did an EXCELLENT job the past 4 years! This year was a BLAST!!! Got done at 8:20pm Saturday night, had all kinds of time to visit and rest, there was not a boring moment during the powwow....well, except when the sound went out on Friday...lol. That was a little boring, but that got remedied real quick. Lots and lots of fun ladies, and thank you for all your hard work and hospitality the past 4 years!!!

            Thank you!

I also wanted to say a big "Miigwetch" to all of the dancers, singers, spectators, and everyone else that has come to the pow-wow and supported us the past 4 years. I never really knew how much work it took to run a pow-wow; our pow-wow isn't huge but it's good size and it's A LOT of work. I loved every minute of it; specifically, meeting all of the wonderful people and working with the best of the best head staff. We really have made some lifelong friends and look forward to seeing you all on the pow-wow trail!

            Miigwetch!

Big Ups to the committee for making the job of the head staff so easy. Angel and the other folks had things so organized, and we all know Darrell G and Dave S are old PROs when it comes to being AD. Thanks for making me part of it, met some really great folks...

Congratulations on a great success! Unfortunately, yours and ours are the same weekend, so doesn't look like we'll be able to make it up that way ( cousin is new royalty, so we have specials here next year), but I want to extend a handshake, and best wishes for your 2009 Committee! Keep up the great work!

Just wanted to let all know who plan to attend the Hamilton powwow, that the committee has made it right with the head staff from last year, all is well and most will attend this year. Hope all you can make it to a great powwow.

I'll start out by saying the usual things were good about this powwow: the drums and the dancers. It's them that ultimately make or break a powwow, for the most part. There were some really great specials and the dancers really put up a good competition. The weather was mild, and it was not unbearably...
