1st. Annual Falling Leaves Powwow, Sampson, Alabama. Oct 10-13-2008
This is a White Powwow. Many Native People's are not supporting this powwow. The folks putting this powwow on ARE NOT, Native Americans.

I heard they have convinced delegates of the native community to support this powwow, I am asking all that are going to this so called powwow to re-evaluate supporting this wannabe powwow.

Who's the sponsoring organization? Is there an organization behind it? Given the choice of no powwow or maybe an alright non-native powwow, you would pick "no powwow?"

In response to the message that our powwow is a white man's powwow.

It is true that some people were not invited to our powwow.

Maybe it is jealousy for the purpose of the original message, because it is in our heart and we have been blessed by and received help from Grandfather to make this gathering and powwow happen.

I am 1/8 Cherokee by blood, and 100 percent by heart. I follow the red path daily and the posted message does not disturb me.

Not to get off subject, but what does this have to do with Powwow Idol?? Which is the forum you posted this in
The things you are doing today are the traditions of twenty-five years from now.
