The Rappahannock Tribe presents their 10th Annual American Indian POW-WOW to be held on tribal land, Route 623 (Indian Neck Road) in King and Queen County, Va

FROM RICHMOND:
Follow Route 360 East (Mechanicsville Pike) toward Tappahannock. Travel Approximately 23 miles from Mechanicsville to St. Stephens Church, Virginia. (Identifying markers are blinking traffic light, Bradleys Convenience Store and Sutton’s Dodge Car dealership). At light, take a left on Rt. 721 (Newtown Road). Make a right on 619, Owens Mill Road, at Lawson-Marriott Elementary School. Come to fork in the road at Cauthornsville, bear right continue on 619. Come to stop sign. Make left on Indian Neck Road or 623. The Rappahannock Tribal Center is approximately 1 mile on the left.
FROM NEWPORT NEWS:
Take Interstate 64 West towards Richmond. Take exit 220, to Route 33 North heading towards West Point for 8 miles. Once you cross the bridge into West Point, turn left at the 1st stoplight and proceed West on Rout 30. Follow Route 30 to Central Garage (approximately 28 miles) turn right on 360 West, proceed approximately 6 miles to St. Stephens Church. (Identifying markers are traffic light, Bradley’s Convenience Store and Sutton’s Dodge Car dealership.) From that point, follow driving directions above from Richmond, VA.
FROM TAPPAHANNOCK:
Take 17 North to Tappahannock. Come to intersection of 17 and 360. At stop light take 360 West, pass hospital entrance and keep straight towards Richmond for approximately mile and a half or two. Make a right on 619 (identifying markers old white bldg once a restaurant) continue on 619 until you come to stop sign. Identifying marker is Sunnyside store. Make left at stop sign (still on 619) proceed until you come to Indian neck Road. Road will split. Bear to right on 623 (Indian Neck Road). Go about a mile, Center will be on the left. You’ll see the sign.
FROM SOUTHERN MARYLAND AND POINTS NORTH:
Follow Route 301 S. into Virginia. Upon crossing the Potomac River Bridge proceed 18 miles S. to Port Royal. Turn left at traffic light on Rt. 17 toward Tappahannock. Follow driving directions for Washington/DC/Fredericksburg.
FROM WASHINGTON DC/ FREDERICKSBURG:
Take Interstate 95 South toward Richmond, VA. Take Exit 126 (Massaponax Exit) and follow signs for Route 17 and 301 (Port Royal). Follow Route 17 to Tappahannock for 17 miles until you see an Exxon Station on the right at Champlain, VA. You will be entering a rural area, and we suggest you pay close attention to landmarks and road signs. Turn right at the Exxon station (Route 631), and continue for 8 miles until you reach a stop sign. Turn left on Route 635. Proceed for 8 miles to a fork in the road where you will bear right and pass the Rappahannock Indian Baptist Church (on right). Continue past Upper King and Queen Baptist Church. shortly after, make a left on Route 623 (Indian Neck Road) and proceed for approximately 5 miles. The Rappahannock Tribal Center is on the right side of the road.
