It's usually the weekend after the Indio powwow in November. It's always the 1st weekend in December. They're constructing a new casino, so hopefully it's still on. Check their website www.29palmsband.com

...And shephards we shall be. For thee my lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from thy hand. That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to thee. And teeming with souls shall it ever be. E Nomini Patri, E Fili, E Spiritu Sancti.

                More Info...

There is no Northern Host Drum. There is a contest for both Northern & Southern Drums. Each category has 4 places; 1st-$4000 plus jackets, 2nd-$3000, 3rd-$2000, and 4th-$1000. Grand Entry Time on Friday is 6pm....I mention it because I know it was a problem for dancers last year. Don't know why it is so early, but that's what it is. Saturday GE times are 1pm & 6pm and Sunday it's at 1pm. Hope this information helps
