Don't think you're gonna stay inside the casino the whole time. Some people like to go outside or may not be staying in the casino hotel. They may be staying at a different motel or going to eat somewhere else. Dress accordingly.Originally posted by skybird5 View Post

hotels in the area?
Where's some good hotels close by besides Fantasy Springs...don't feel like paying 225 a night for a hotel I'll hardly be in... Drum group coming down to so where's a "decent" hotel...no roach motels please!Originally posted by Joe's Dad View PostComment

Theres a Best Western that the Head Staff used to stay in, Date Tree I think it's called. The Motel 6 in Indio is fine too. Unfortunately, because of the pow wow happening, lots of hotels raise their rates so it may be almost half of what you wld pay for Fantasy Springs.
There's a Quality Inn in town and a Holiday Inn Express on the same road as the Casino, but it's probably full. The Super 8 in town is pretty good and so is the Royal Plaza Inn. There are a variety of small mom and pop type motor hotels along HWY 111 which is in town, but they are sometimes "roach" motels.Comment
