ALASKA: Powwow, in celebration of Native Heritage Month NOV. 22, 2008

This coming Saturday will be a Native Heritage Month Powwow at Effie Kokrine Charter School, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Effie school is off Geist Road and Loftus, event will take place in gymnasium. Other dance-groups/cultural groups are welcomed to participate. Grand-entry is at noon. Everyone is welcomed to attend and dance. No Alcohol, Drugs, weapons and no attendence fee:) This event is sponsored by: the Alaska Native Education/Parent Advisory Committee and all people, of all ages and all nations are invited to attend and celebrate Native Heritage Month with us.
