I just got a call, from one of the commitee members that i get paid today. I think it's good that the powwow commitee is making things right. But the powwow was still bad azz hell, some keen singing. Lookin foward to next year. Ummm should add southern catz.

It shows real class to admit thier mistakes, I am also happy that them other dancers are getting paid, it comes right before X-mas too, this powwow was one of the best of the year besides all the mix up, I enjoyed myself, seen alot of friends and family I haven't seen in a long time, and the music was off the chain, you couldn't help but dance, I am coming back for next year for sure, and I know Dana would have liked to have danced off, he is a competetor just like me. HAPPY HOLIDAYS & SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL!!!

Well this year again the committee was stellar
They fed 900 people in 30 mins!!!!

Foxwoods and the true meaning of being First Nations
          by fallendancer
We all know that the foxwoods hold a large powwow every year near their casino. Nevertheless, this powwow is invitation only for singing groups. It is against our ways to exculude people from celebrations. I heard that the foxwoods don't want too many people at their powwow, or do not have the finances...

I went to the RRAFN Powwow in Manitoba, Canada, August 19, 20, & 21 and was not disappointed. For such a small gathering (some categories had as few as 1 or 2 dancers), it was nicely put together. I'd only been to one other powwow in my life (In Rapid City, SD- that one was HUGE!) but I'd have...

          Saddletree Pow-wow this past weekend
          by Smokin' Ace
Was able to go there today and support this community pow-wow. Southern Eagle was the only drum, but it seems Tony kept everyone entertained and occupied by having plenty of fill in music. It was a very laid back pow-wow, and one that I quite enjoyed.

          Heart races
          by MikeBurgess
Hi everyone,my heart tends to race pretty fast lately and I don't know if it’s because I started taking too much coffee per day or because of a more serious health problem. Now I'm literally a coffee addict. Any idea to stop this?
