Looking forward to this p/w. Just hope that there will not be any contraversial issues from others that are planning to come. You know the type: want to show up and do their on thing and not follow the proper protocol. That really takes the mood of a p/w down. I have seen it happen so much, both, spectators and participants.

Had a woman (spectator) last year at a p/w drunk as a skunk. The committee had to have the police remove her from the premises. It was kind of funny though. She had on a dress from Wally-World that I guess she thought was a native dress. She was just dancing around and feeling the spirit (alcohol).

I don't really know if they have camping. However, the Park area is really nice and a Wal-Mart is right down the street. Now that's cool with me.

Heya - we lived in the Hampton Roads area for 4-5 years. No camping at Red Wing and the park closes overnight. There is some good camping about 10 miles away at First Landing State Park on Shore Drive. There are cabins, campsites, kayak rentals, etc. There are lots of park activities too.
