GON 2009 Special Hotel Rates

Yes, they are finally here!! So I have a little bit of options here for all of you. Of course, by recommendation and based on last year's response, the Towneplace Suites have been chosen to be the lead hotel. This year, I was guaranteed that all the 2 bedroom suites will be priority to Native Paths. However, there are only 11 of them. But we do have the Studio Suites with a queen bed and pullout sofa (to a double bed) available too. Then there are other hotels available at the same rates but do not have the full size kitchens in the room. So it's all going to be your choice. First come first serve, the faster you get your reservations in, the better the availability. Also, due to higher cost to run a business, the agency fee has increased to 15.00 per reservation. We are planning on having a booth again this year at GON, so come by and see us!! As usual, we are running our Win a Free Room Night, so make sure you come by and sign up. Who knows???

**must have government i.d. **Limited Availability
**All reservations subject to 15.00 nonrefundable agency fee. All reservations will be held on a credit card/debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo, room charges will not be charged until check-in. Cancellation policy for GON Hotels are 72 hours in advance, if not cancelled a 1 night fee plus tax will be charged. Reservations must be made by Native Paths Travel only to guarantee rate. Do not call hotel directly as you may not get the negotiated rate.

That's cool, but for big events, contact me for better rates. I have been doing this for 18 years specializing in group and meetings with big hotel names all around the world. The rates are always below, government, senior, AAA, and even our travel agent rates.

For those of you going to GON, if you book a rate online that is a special or a government rate or maybe the lowest rate available, be careful. Last year i got a couple of last minute emergency calls from people needing rooms because the hotels in the area denied their confirmed rates and charged them their 'rack' rates or 'event' rates for those dates. Then the clients were outraged but some hotels won't guarantee those rates even if you have a confirmation. All the rates and reservations were booked were online. Some hotels don't adjust their rates online so when you check in, surprise!! Their excuse is.... sorry we don't offer those rates because it's a 'special event' (ending up in doubling in price). After being in this business for a long time, I have seen it all. But the rates I have are guaranteed contracted rates that cannot be changed at all.

UPDATE!!

Okay the 2 bedroom Suites at the Towneplace are sold out. There is a waiting list though, so get your names up if you want one of those.

Meanwhile, I just added the Fairfield Inn Airport for 80.00 per night plus tax, it does include breakfast (actually a pretty good one too). There are double double bedded rooms and King rooms, all close to the 'pit'.

Yes, there are still rooms left.....

I am a Hilton Honors member, we are thinking of going to GON and I'd like to know which Hilton properties are closest -- we usually stay at Embassy Suites hotels but I think that one's a bit farther out -- I'm interested in Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Hilton Garden Inn or Hilton -- has anyone stayed at these, are they close???
