Which Powows Do You Plan On Going To This Year?

I had plans to go to lotsa powwows this year but now my plans have changed due to the recent death in my family.

(2/27/09) Since I've had TWO deaths in my family this year, I dont know if I'll get to ANY powwows.

Plan on going 2 quite a few PWs, will I actually get 2 go. Well. Just have 2 wait & see.

My plans are to go to different powwows this year, maybe going west and down south..........see some different scenery this summer

I think that these are all that we are committed to this year so far... So it looks like 13.... we are head dancing 5 maybe 6, one of them is going to be our 'winter vacation" to sunny warm Florida :)
The list keeps growing and growing...As of 2/24 I think that we are up to 17 now, maybe 20 not sure on the last three that someone just called us about so I haven't even added them to the list....

all the lower michigan's ones if we can get the right sites and dates from web sites --2 listed are wrong to on Indian Country News and some are canceled now ! and a lot are on same weekend in june?!

Steelemag, where at in Middletown. I'm familliar with the area. Have you been to this before and if so how was it. Wondering if it's the usual group of dancers/singers/venders/ families that travel PA.

This is our first year for Middletown, we know the drum so we are going to it. Not sure who is head dancing it, but at this time I know that it's not Jim and me (LOL)....

I think that it's close to Harrisburg. I don't happen to have the directions close by.

I heard that it was a good powow in previous years, so I assmue that it's going to be good but can't make any promises...

yep same here, most the ones in michigan and depending on gas prices home to ontario for a few different ones.
