  • Red Earth 09 - Need help....

For all you folks that like to watch Red Earth via webcast I thought you all might be able to help with something. Some things have changed with the committee this year and it's up in the air if they are gonna have us out to do the webcast.

It's usually the most watched webcast and I would hate to see it not happen this year because the new "powers that be" make the wrong call. Everyone has had such good feedback these past few years I was wondering if you all wouldn't mind dropping Red Earth a little message letting them know how much you enjoy watching?

Plus with no webcast there won't be an endurance special.

This is what I know so far.....

Host Drums - Midnite Express and Poor Boys

Special Invited Drums - Sizzortail, Thunderhill, Ottertrail and Meskwaki Nation......

I hear they might bring back a drum contest, too. Yea Randy and Graham!!!

As of now, PowWows.com will NOT be at Red Earth.

No webcast and no Endurance Special!

Paul was even planning a new twist on the contest this year!

If you want PowWows.com there, let the committee hear from you.

Call Miami instead, they are having their dance--my hubby is HMD. Two days instead of three, not all the fab dancers but a good time anyway. Let me know if you need numbers to call.

That would be awesome if you could come out to the Alabama-Coushatta Pow wow. It's held in the evening on both Friday and Saturday nights.

The hubby and I will be co-sponsoring the Tiny Tots Special Contest in honor of my daughter and my niece who "came out" last year during the pow wow.

Red Earth was once awesome for me, but since they changed the dates to the same weekend as our pow wow, i haven't been able to go.
