i went to a few powwow where there were ndn men that got up and got holy and started to talk about the ndn way then when he got done he went over to his white woman and sit down all proud.. i was just wondering if he wanted to keep the ndn way strong he should have got with an native woman. i wonder why these men do that? just wondering??

My Father is NDN but my mother is white lol. Seriously I dont see nothing wrong with it as long as the heart is in the right place. Home is where the heart is ;)

I do agree if you are going to be all native this preaching native that...then it is kinda hypocritical to have a white lady

I notice that too. My uncle's like that. Really into his culture. Saying how white people are bad for doing us ndns wrong.... then he goes & marries a white woman. Go figure

yeah I always give my hubby hell, because his oldest son is with a white lady...ewww...i guess it wouldn't be so bad if she was kinda alright looking but goodness...she looks bout 45 and is early 30's...then again white people age faster...especially in the face but she is some kind of yuck...lmao...When ever we see her I always look at him and laugh...then i ask...WTH were you thinking...lol...then he always says...I was 18 yrs old...young, drunk, and on drugs...then I say, yeah you would have to be...lol...gotta love him!!Last edited by cris_neva; 03-24-2009, 11:42 PM.Be strong, but not rude.

I would not be here if it wasn't for a white person and a native person who fell in love....and you can't help who you fall in love with...
I do think that if you are out there preaching about how bad the white people then you might look like a hypocrite if you are married to a white person....Thankful for the blessing from the Creator in my life!!!!

Love is love I say cant help when or who when the love bug bite's ya. I always dated native dudes , but never any love, I met my husband fell in love and couldnt be happier he is there every step of the way and supports our ways and is very active in many ways feals as I do about teaching our sons their culture. I will share and I dont know why ive never said this out loud cept to my hubby.. It really erks me to see a ndn guy with a white woman.. I have to laugh at my self lol. And for those who think thats silly ,no one knows more than I how silly that sounds lol.I got a fevah! And the only cure is more cowbell!!!Comment
