Red Earth. Stoney Park, Chiniki Lake, Porcupine Singers, REd Bull, Eagle Whistle, etc. That northern list is a little too recent (although they are all great drums). Any list without Blacklodge is not a list. What they did in the 1980s was like the Beatles.

I'm not to keen on the northern list...

NC should be on there, Mandaree MUST be on there.....

but where are the other old skool drums that paved the way like Badlands, Fort Kipp, Porcupine, Ironwood...all songs that people still sing today...
Also your contemporary drums that started it all like Chinniki lake, Red Nation, Assinabione JR's, Sioux Assinabione...these were all GREAT drums in the late 70's and 80's.
then your contemporary drums that changed the game by the way contemp is sung like..eyabay, Stoney park, Blacklodge, Blackstone, whitefish jr's..ect.

I think you need to have seperate brackets for ol skool, contemp, straight and southern.

64 Drums, we'll put them each into brackets and vote on each matchup until we get to an overall winner!

                      32 Southern
                      32 Northern

That's the plan. Any other suggestions?

The plan is to have 2 sides - Northern and Southern. We can try to group the Northerns into those groupings.

To get a true picture of your purpose in life, you only get the whole picture when you listen with your mind, your ears and your heart. This way The Creator has a direct connection with you and only you...no outside interference.

When you follow the will of IT that created you, understanding that your purpose is not for you...but for IT and all that IT has created, there can be no wrong except failure to be obedient. Only then do we jeopardize the gifts we are given.

Its not the final destination that defines us, rather the journey taken!
