    Mt. Pleasant, MI
    Located at the Saginaw Chippewa Campgrounds on Tomah Rd


    Host Drum: 2008 Singing Champs, Battle River (MN)
    Head Singing Judge: Harvey Dreaver (MI)
    Head Dance Judges: Wayne Silas Jr. and Rose Track (WI)
    Arena Director's: Dave Shananaquet (MI) & Daryl Goodwill (AZ)
    MC's: Edmond Nevaquaya (OK) & Sandon Jacobs (NC)
    Head Veteran: George Martin
    *Head Dancers will be picked and paid daily

    *Open Drum Contest: 1st Place $10,000; paying 7 places!

    *All Adult Dance Categories: 1st Place $1,400; paying 5 places!

    Dance Categories Include:
    Platinum (65+)
    Golden Age (50-64)
    Sr. Adult (36-49)
    Jr. Adult (18-35)
    Teens (12-17)
    Juniors (6-11)
    *All categories are Northern and Southern combined

    SPECIALS JUST ADDED!:
    Hand Drum: 1st: $1000, 2nd: $500, 3rd: $300 (No limit on # of singers)
    Sister's Team Dance: $1000 Winner Take All (All Ages, must be BLOOD related)
    Brother's Team Dance: $1000 Winner Take All (All Ages, must be BLOOD related)
    Double Beat: 1st: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $200 (15+ age limit)
    Men's Fancy: 1st: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $200 (15+ age limit)
    Jingle: 1st: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $200 (15+ age limit)

      Still Rooms Available!

      There's still rooms at both tribal hotels, the casino rooms book faster than the Inn so hurry hurry and get em while they last! LOL!

      FYI: I heard that if you have a Saginaw Chippewa tribal member book your room at the casino hotel...they get a pretty hefty discount! That's just what I heard anyway (shhh )...lol!

                    I'm looking at the flyer right now and it doesn't say GE times, but usually its 7pm Fri, 1pm Sat (1 long session with 2 contest rounds), and 1pm on Sunday. Jinglin will probably read this and confirm or correct.
