We actually got a room at the casino for Mayetta pow-wow TODAY!....lol There happened to be a cancellation when we called! Oh yeah!!!

So, who's all heading that way anyway. Haven't heard much talk about it on here. Hope it's not whack!.....lol

The rooms booked up pretty fast at the casino, but glad you were able to get in! The committee was able to get a pretty good block this year at the casino.
If you've never been to our powwow, I hope you have a good time! It's usually pretty hot and humid though so good thing you have a room at the casino- it's just a few miiles from the pw park.

We're expecting powwow people from all over the U.S and have invited our 2008 Singing Contest champs back- Midnite Express.
(They will be in the singing contest)

Hope to see everyone in a few weeks and safe travels to all!

I'm thinking about coming up that way too. I haven't been there in years but would really enjoy going to a Northern powwow. I haven't been outside of Oklahoma for a powwow since Haskell graduation powwow last year! I'm crossing my fingers that I make it up there.
We will be known forever by the tracks we leave..Dakota leader.
