rained out

Danced today, was hot, then rainy, then hot again, then a big storm! Pow wow got rained out before 6pm grand entry so they called it....bummer. now everyone is chillen in the exciting town of Cody....

starts up again at noon tomorrow for 1 session, gonna contest teens, adults and the specials by 6pm...Chico can do it!! lol.....

I was supposed to go but my kidz are between outfits and didn't really wanna go. I thought it woulda been strange to be there on Father's Day without my kidz.....so I stayed home. My outfit wanted to go worse than me!

got rained out on saturday so we were bored, no casino LOL, but it was nice the next day and the powwow ended early........ but their were so many ties in all categories, sometimes with 4 or 5 dancers, guess that happens when you have even number of judges, i only remember some of the winners:

Yeah, got rained out Sat. night, but gahhh, we were all sunburned from the day! Sun, then cloudy, sun, then cloudy, so we got a mean 'ole sunburn! Sunday Chico kept it going good so they ended just in time around 6:30pm

Yeah they did! They're just tiny tots. They actually got too hot while it was nice! When it rained, they went to the museum and then everyone drove out to the dam.

My other daughters were working the Arapaho taco stand and had a tough time on Sat. but then it went pretty good on Sunday. This is the first year in a long time that I haven't gone. But usually I'm stuck in the taco stand slaving away.

Now I'm slaving away chained to my sewing machine....probably be done Saturday morning...just in time to make frybread for my daughter's yard sale. Stop by...we'll be right along the highway.

i think everyone drove out to the DAM when i rained i saw all the powwowers going that way haha..........i bought a taco from that stand, mmm was good too..........yeah i hear ya about the sewing machine trying to finish 2 outfits for my daughter before thursday, but i will stop by on sat, i will carry a big sign with my name on it lol

That's crazy everyone headed to the dam. I hate going that way after noticing the water running through cracks in the middle.

Then over the winter (a couple years ago) the tunnel COLLAPSED!!!!

So now I just close my eyes and pray until we see light again.
