Sunday even had a smaller grand entry. The mosquitos were really ferocious, I heard that they tried to carry a couple small children away. lol

Other than everyone showing up last minute and winning everything, it was alright. Next year they might as well make it a contest powwow though.

2 am payouts is also kinda harsh on elders and people with kids. I thought after all these years they would do something about that.

yea 10:30 was a little late. It ended bout after 8 last year. I was thinking bout sponsoring a jingle dress spesh but if not, maybe a 5K challenge.

                            Constructive Criticizm

OK, here's the thing....... I like to pow-wow, when I can, just as much as the next guy. Due to my job constraints to get to this pow-wow from start to finish my wife and I would probably need to take vacation time for the Thursday before and the Tuesday after this pow-wow. Being this pow-wow is on Labor Day, most of us actually only get the Monday after our weekend off.

With that said, I think many more people would like to come to this pow-wow if it were to be held to what could be considered the "normal" standards for a Labor Day Pow-wow. I could see a warm-up session on Friday, two Grand Entry's on Saturday & Sunday, and one Grand Entry on Monday.

This would give the traveler's some time to wind down maybe stay a day and do some fishing....

As it is, seven Grand Entry's is a bit of an over-kill, at least in my opinion.

Maybe the committee can make some changes that would benefit the average working 'pow-wow family'.......

Just thought I'd throw that out there....not knocking the pow-wow at all. Everyone that I know that has attended say its a great time.

...."that's about all I have to say bout that"...
"....remember that one song that one time?......"

I must have missed that seventh grand entry, because I swear there was only six. But there is nothing holding anybody hostage on Monday, please feel free to leave whenever you want. A good time will still go on.
