Does anyone know if this pow wow is not happening this year. I saw a poster on it but I hear it has been cancelled. Too bad, as this was a good one. Good drums, lots of skins from 4 directions, great dancing, good slots, good food, etc. The committee was a little disorganized but they were new and probably learned a lot from experience. Hope it is still on.

Dang, that sucks. I went just for the day to meet up with friends and trade and visit.
There's a flier going around for this first annual contest in Minneapolis. Gonna be a traditional powwow a few blocks away at the Indian Center too, if your not a contest person.
The YWCA has a nice large gym/track area I imagine it's being held on. Prolly dance there one day then the tradish powwow the other day.
