This is a good dance, got a chance to make it last year. They treat the dancers very good with a meal on Sat. & Sun., free bottled water and day monies for those dancers who don't place. Plus, always wonder what the drum contest will consist of.

Hope to make it up that way again. Maybe get a chance to make to the Mall of America this time.

Sure is a good one! Things run smooth and their accomadations are really nice. Haven't been since 2006, but want to head back....

once again, falls the same wknd as Crow Fair...will i ever make it to shakopee?! I've always wanted to go, but i just can't skip out on crow fair. one of these days there will be a slip in the powwow time continuum and they'll fall on seperate wknds & then i can go! :P

Dang I was talking to a friend of mine from the cities about this powwow. I hope I can make it and see what the hubbub is about. Never been, usually go to OIN in Oklahoma instead. Small, tribal powwow.

i haven't been in a few years. last time i went i took some teens from my teen group from my last job and it turned out to be a fiasco...i thought it would be a good idea, man was i wrong...they could have told me they didn't like pow wows...i took the younger kids from my pre teen group to camp out at mankato that same year. and though it was freezing at least they had a good time...

i'll be going this year WITH NO TEENAGERS!!! lol...should be fun...

I've heard through the rumor mill that Bear Creek, The Boyz, Wild Band of Comanches and Thunderhill have been invited and they are working on more.
