Hey I was just wondering if anyone who has been to RB before, if they're are showers available for the folks that are camping? This will be our first time out there and really looking forward to it, even the cold nights..lol.

Its our first time going too this year, its been one powwow I've always heard about all my life & I've always wanted to go too. From what i was told you should be able to shower at the high school & possibly at the college. Bring plenty of blankets & coats because it will get cold at night. lol

Yes it's very cold at night and a long powwow. Usually does not end til 3 or 4 am on Sunday/Monday morning, so be prepared to sit it out. During the day it can be hot and thunderstorms in the afternoon to mid evening. I was there 2 yrs ago and going again this year. We had a blast! Looking forward to having another blast. Also be prepared to sit through a lot of specials and other dance contests. Bring lots of blankets and even stuff to cover for rain. The only downside is the porta potties, they didn't clean them out daily so had to deal with some ugly potties :(. I hope they have someone cleaning them out this year.... Have fun....Be safe.....

Been the last two years. Weather has been awesome. Toilets clean every day. Contests done long before 3 or 4am. AD's the last couple years have moved things long fast even with split age categories.

since both of you are going to the RB powwow, maybe you should get together and vote to see which one of U gets to be my fan club president. You can even come to a powwow in Ohio or PN or MA with me, those are the bestest ones, you know. You haven't lived until you've danced to Stinky Puppy, Roadkill Takoja, Puss Monkey Jrs, DYB, Buffalo Stream, Southeastwestern Cree, and our southern drum "Urban Gangsta's".
