On their way home from Ponemah, some the Bad Nation singers were involved in a weather related accident near Sioux Falls. Their van went off the road & rolled a few times. I'm not sure of the extent of injuries that everyone suffered but everyone is doing well as can be. They need your prayers.
Its sad that this happened. It weighs heavily on my mind because I was able to sing and to laugh & joke around with them just a few hours before all of their accident.
Considering the amount of traveling that many of us do traveling from pow-wow to pow-wow, its good that accidents don't happen more often. Many times we're on the road lots of hours with little or no sleep. We put ourselves at risks with the thought of making it on time for grand entry or trying to get home for work. Even though many try to take precautions, sometimes things happen that are out of our control.
Pow-wow season is winding down, when you travel, be safe....
