  • 40th Annual Poarch Creek Thanksgiving Powwow!!!

    Nov 25th & 26th
    Grand Entries Thursday: 1pm, Fri: 11am
    over 60,000 in cash prizes

    Senior Adult Contest (45 +)
    Men's Grass/Fancy combined, Men's Straight/Traditional combined, Women's Jingle/Women's Fancy combined, Women's cloth & buckskin combined.

    1st: 700 2nd: 500 3rd: 300 4th: 200

    Adult Contest (18-44)...TWO NEW CATEGORIES THIS YEAR
    Men's: Northern Traditional, Straight, CHICKEN, Grass, Fancy
    Women's: Southern Cloth, Southern Buckskin, NORTHERN TRADITIONAL, Jingle, Fancy Shawl

    1st: 700 2nd: 500 3rd: 300 4th: 200

    Teens (13-17) and Juniors (7-12)
    Boys: Traditional, Grass, Fancy
    Girls: Traditional, Jingle, Fancy Shawl

    Teen Payout: 1st: 300 2nd: 200 3rd: 100 4th: 50

    Junior Payout: 1st:200 2nd: 100 3rd: 75 4th: 50

    Tiny Tots: paid daily

    DRUM CONTEST!

    Paying four places in both Northern and Southern

    1st: 5000 2nd: 3000 3rd: 1500 4th: 1000

    SPECIALS

    Warrior's Special for Northern Traditional 18 +, Honoring Chief Houston McGhee

    Head to Head Tournament Style Battle, Single Elimination

    runner up: 500.00

    Champion: 3000! + trophy

    Golden Age Men's Straight and Traditional Combined (55+): 1000.00 Winner take all

    Golden Age Women's Cloth and Buckskin Combined (55+): 1000.00 Winner take all

    Ladies Specials:

    Fancy Shawl, 1000.00 Winner take all
