aw, AMIGO, it is AWESOME during the winter snows. YOSEMITE is also fantastic during the snows! the Water Falls are so beautiful and everything gets covered in the snow they create. maybe you can do it later? although i dont know when they close the roads down.

That post was kinda dumb for being from my new smart phone.

Ennywayz, looking good here at Lawndale High School. Wildhorse Drum, Red Hand Singers, Bear Springs, War Whistle, Adrian Yazzie, White Cloud Singers, and a couple more...

Lots of powwow families, dancers in every age group and style. The Princess is from the Soaring Eagles Youth Powwow Dancers program, congratulations to the young lady, her family, and all Soaring Eagles!

At Denny's now...Prime Rib & Potato Skillet, with Shrooms! Soon gonna work on video footage....

RAIN, RAIN, RAIN...ICE COLD RAIN...Mother Earth needed it.

The powwow was moved indoors on SDSU campus, but due to a large convention at the same time, only a small dinner hall was available.

Much smaller powwow than had been planned, and it was cut short to allow families to drive home in daytime hours due to RAIN.

So, next year we gonna make it up for this year!

Fresno State 21st First Nations Indigenous Powwow Saturday April 14, 2012

                      RAIN, RAIN, & SNOW.

The CSU Fresno 2012 Powwow was moved to a dry asphalt parking lot (outdoors) due to soaked campus lawn where the powwow arena is usually located. The dark clouds hung above the powwow, but the sun came through and people danced to Steve Bohay & Sooner Nation, Bear Springs Singers, and Four Directions Singers.

Fresno State Aztec dancers performed, and also the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band of Mission San Juan Bautista Indians - Costanoan / Ohlone presented their local Native dancing and singing.

There were enough vendors to make it a nice, little powwow, this year due to the weather.

                                Central Florida pow-wows?
                                by Seaweed
It just recently came to my attention that I just missed a pow-wow very close to me in Central Florida.
I know there is a big pow-wow in Orlando in November, I believe. I was wondering, do you guys know of any other pow-wows around here?

                                Thanks
