                Eya - Hey Nakoda was informed their host job was cancelled. The other aspects of the Pow-wow is still a go. Money that was to be given t Eya - Hey Nakoda was not available. No hard feelings .... Sure hope to go that way some day.

                        thats too bad, we were looking forward to hearing your drum group, it was a small powwow, but some of the winners that i can think of.

                          no kidding, it was a small powwow, but the committee did the best they could: good to see alot of local peeps there, good food everyday, several dance specials, and about 8 drum groups with some great singing, there were 2 singing contests and the results:

                          Black Bear Singing Contest
                          1st-eagle mountain
                          2nd-pass creek
                          3rd-crazy horse singers

                          Committee Singing Contest
                          1st-young generation, Macy, Nebr
                          2nd-crazy horse singers
                          3rd-eagle mountain

Flyers were distributed at CMU Powwow in Mt. Pleasant, MI and U of M Powwow at Ann Arbor, MI. All the other info will remain the same. So please spread...
