Hey Everyone,
I need your help to possibly find a friend. I know that word gets around in Indian country and someone on this site can help me. She keeps coming on my mind and I would like to get in touch with her. I know she is out there on the pow-wow trail. She lived in North Carolina for a while. I think Halifax County was the county where she lived. She was from Conneticut and she left North Carolina bout 15 years ago and moved back to Conneticut. She left suddenly and I didn't know she was gone until she sent me a message from Conneticut by another person. At the time that I received the message, I didn't have a telephone or money to make a call because I was out of work. She did not give me an address and I've moved and she probably lost my old address anyway.
My friend worked at Foxwood for a while. By the time I was able to call her, I could not find her telephone number and I've been trying to get in touch every since. When she left North Carolina her last name was Brown Feather. Then I think she remarried and she is using another surname. I am very concerned about her, I miss her friendship, and I've been thinking about her a lot.
If you know her, please ask her to send me a private message. She loves animals and when she left North Carolina, I think she took about 10 dogs with her. She had one little dog named Smokey. She named him Smokey because she found him as he was walking along the road, while she was on a trip in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. Another clue that I can give you is that her ex-husband was once a guest on the Oprah Show. I also have pictures of her and her ex-husband while they were visiting the Badlands of South Dakota. I think they stayed on the Pine Ridge Reservation for a while. She and I were good friends and I miss her friendship. Another clue that I can give is that she and I once went on a hike in Meadoc Mountain Park in Hollister, NC. At the park they have different trails and we meant to take a shorter trail but we ended up taking the 7 mile trail by mistake. Smile....
I truly appreciate your help and I'm asking because I'm sure that someone on this site knows her or she may visit this site herself.
