This pow wow was a typical colville rez to be expected kind. sheesh, what a cheated pow wow. but still had fun with family and friends. stick games were smaller than usual. but ya know?

I was there. I think that the pow-wow is actually getting better. I was never a fan of it, but I think that it is getting better. I thought the contests were fair, and no, I am not from the Colville rez.It is so sad that a family can torn apart by something as simple as a wild pack of dogs. -

We planned on going but had to cancel for a couple of reasons. First, the boys' great grandma has been in the hospital in Lewiston for a while and they don't expect her to be with us much longer. And then the snow all hit last Thursday, the battery froze in one car and the heater core in the minivan is still waiting for replacement. So it became a good weekend to just sit around the house. Maybe next one.Comment

THIS past weekend my family and i went to a powwow here in florida.this powwwow was held by the florida indian hobbyist assc, the drum playing and singing wwhere great but one thing i dont understand most everyone danceing was white .is this assc. for education purpose or what is the deal.no other powwow...03-31-2008, 10:14 AM
