im sorry for no pics, but you can probably visualize the ridiculousness. did i mention the competition was for ribbons? i know the money doesn't really matter, but it further demonstrates how frustrating the whole experience was. ugh...east coast powwows can be hit or miss i guess. the women wore pseudo-iroquois cloth outfits but they tried to dance like southern buckskin...it was so crazy you guys...
it was a southern-style powwow...in new york? with a "gourd dance" and all. weird stuff man

We had fun anyway because it was a small powwow and had a goot northern drum and some real good contest dancers from around the region stopped in to strut around. All in all , even with the drunk, it was a fun one

Well kiddos tiss the season just got my first delivery of Deer skins will be brain tanning them over the next few months will have pics when done .
