I would love to go to the Gathering of Nations Powwow but I am here in Canada and my family are there in New Mexico. I don't have the fund to travel and to attend the Gathering. I hope my sister and my son along with his family plus my nieces and nephew will attend the Gathering. I remembered that the Gathering of Nations was the biggest powwow in the world. There were so many tribes from all over the world and it was very crowded that we need more room to have enough traditional dancers to dance in. It is suppose to be a competive Powwow, not traditonal Powwow. I would never forget it every time I went there. It was very awesome and big WOW. If any of you, Powwow fans, want to go there and it is a experience that you will cherish for a long time. So have fun there. Someday I will go there when I have enough fund to attend the Gathering.

To answer Paul G on the Gathering of Nations being broadcast the Powwow Live in New Mexico. I will try to watch it if I can just see the performance without hearing the sound. The action will help me to know the rhythm of the dancing the two steps and if I can hear with my hearing aid by having the drummers beat the drums, that would be great. I will be looking forward to the broadcast the Powwow.

It is NOT true. Gathering of Nations will be held at the Pit!

lol you know Josiah, that's what I originally thought and then someone told me that their family was already there and I got confused. Okay, so I didn't miss it, cool. Thanks, I've been running so much this week that I'm going crazy and loosing track of my days.
