Jimmy Dean where have you been
You took the long way home
You lived so fast and died so young
We want you back that's a crazy notion
Norma Jean queen of the screen
You were the chosen one
Your pretty face, take your place
You broke our hearts, still you had devotion
All we want is part of that emotion
Part of that emotion
Do you believe in the American dream
Show me the stars in your eyes
Do you believe in the American dream
Could it be just a disguise
Marvin Gaye, so much to say
He fed our hungry souls
Loves unkind, deaf, dumb and blind
In the end he had nothing there to lean on
Such a waste wish we knew the reason
Wish we knew the reason
Do you believe in the American dream
Show me the stars in your eyes
Do you believe in the American dream
Could it be just a disguise
Let's go American, let's go American
Let's go American, let's go American
We want you back that's a crazy notion
All we want is part of that emotion
Part of that emotion
Do you believe in the American dream
Show me the stars in your eyes
Do you believe in the American dream
Could it be just a disguise
Do you believe in the American dream
Once I believed in it too
I still believe that American dream
Knowing that it isn't true
Look around where is the answer
The dream begins to fade
A star is born seen you in the paper
Another face to worship as hero
Now we're back to zero, now we're back to zero
Thank you for providing this forum to ask questions. I have been far removed from Native American culture here on the East Coast. My very last memories of proximity to the culture was when my father served as a volunteer doctor on a Lakota Indian Reservation circa 1979 when I was three years old, so...

Now I'm looking for good quality recordings of Native American music. Pure instruments or pure mantra vocals are very welcome. Throat singing is cool, but now what...
As many of you probably know, I am a student in his second year of college. One of my credit requirements is a history course where from day one, we began discussing pre-Columbian America.
There, I got a good earful of such historic gyms as:
I got this in an email. Thought I would share for a good laugh......

My name is Adam Jacobs. I am Lumbee and I am a Computer Engineering student at North Carolina State University. As you all know, November is reserved as Native American history month. I spoke with the RD of my dorm and she told me that I could organize some sort of activity for next month to present...
