Please tell me the origins and stories and legends associated with Buckskin dancing and what tribe you are associated with.

I am Kiowa decendant and decided to dance buckskin style. I want to know more about it, but I haven't met any Kiowa people here in Georgia to ask.

Anything you can tell me about the songs, steps, differences in tribal traditions, steps, regalia, etc would be great!

Buckskin Dancing (Southern)

I am associated with the Sac & Fox Nation of Oklahoma and Dine' Nation of Arizona. I've envied the Southern Buckskin Dancing. I am intersted on how the whole buckskin dancing in general really began. Especially from all the Native Oklahoman's! At what age did everyone begin??
