well, I guess it's due to "vacation time"

Well I'm working on my bag for the traditional outfit.
I took off the old handles and made new one.
Then I sew buckskin around and now I'm looking for a design to make peyote stitch around the handles.
While doing this I'm gonna take pics during the work and add this "new workshop" to my website.
And at the same time I'm gonna beeding the backside of my bag.

My little family has been going to a few powwows. We haven't really traveled more that 3 hours from home this year. We might go check out Crow Fair this coming weekend.

I have been doing a lot of beading. I finished 1 beaded vest in June, and am trying like crazy to finish a second vest before labor day. I almost have all my design work done. The background is in lazy stitch. I think the background should only take 5 days at the most to finish....I hope!!

          I'm new here

Hey there, I'm new here, just logged in and signed up. I am from Wisconsin, and am wondering if there are any people from around here who also do beadwork.

I hope that I hear from some of you soon, I will be checking here tomorrow.

Also, does anyone know of some pow wows coming up around here? Does anyone have advice on making a shawl from scratch?
