Ok, since who me posted this in the jingle category, I would like to hear from all of you buckskin dancers out there

A male straight dancer responds. My wife is Taos Pueblo, a buckskin dress dancer who has danced all over North and South Dakota among other places. During the honor beats she holds her fan upward and forward and turns it a little back and forth with her wrist turning. I never saw women dance in place while holding their fan up during the entire song rendition.

When I was taught Northern Traditional style I raised my fan to the honor beats.
