How do you know which animal to use for your costumes?I was thinkin a deer or a hummingbird please help

What kind of animal do you associate yourself with the most? Do you have any animals that show up more than others in your dreams?

I bet you can't guess my main animal ....... :)

But I also have associations with Wolves, and Eagles for special reasons. One is my protector, and the other my guide, while the smallest is the one I remind people of the most!

Too many people have told me they see a wolf following me, and protecting me, I nearly always have an Eagle flying close by when on trips, this last trip even my husband (who is usually pretty dense) said it was as if this one Eagle was trying to show us the way, and then the little Hummingbird, who nearly always comes around to me, and many people say I'm just like them, as upside down, and backwards as I am forwards .....

What animal comes to peoples mind when they think of you?

hmmmmmmm, good point there .. Mine is mainly wolf but loads of turtles show up around me , ever since I was born , thats why I be who I am . Mom says I mother like a wolf an gaurd like the bear over her cub ...an take my time like the turtle .. So like She said ...take time to think about it ..it will be easy ...(oh an we wont mention how much dirt I ate either <as a kid>)

anyways...

the symbolism in beadwork usually reflects something personal. So like Eagles and Bear Paws, etc are probably clans or last names. or maybe someone you respected a lot was a certain clan or family... (insert your tribal specific term here)

anyways... but whateva floats your boat... Draw the animal out of the hat. :)

I have never had a dream I could remember.But deers show up around me alot.Sometimes they are under my bedroom window lookin up at me.So maybe a deer??

I use turtles on my regalia, but most recently I've been using butterflies cuz it symbolizes the dramatic changed in my life.

We are turtle clan so I use allot of turtles too . Just cant make up my mind what I want to do for this new outfit

Maybe!! If they are close enough to look in your window, maybe they think you are one of them! :)

Nothing wrong with deer! I love them .... not only to watch, but to eat .... and wear the skins ..... they don't get that close here, except at night time when it's illegal to shoot them ..... (of course we do live in the woods, and yes we{rest of family not me} have license's)

Deer are just fine, and would look nice on a shawl or buckskin ... now question!

Can you draw? Applique? Cross stitch? Bead? oh noooo desisions desisions .......
