I also think there should be seperate catagories for southern or cloth dancers...I've been dancing southern style since I could walk and now I live in Manitoba...I was told by some northern style dancers that I'm probably not going to place up here cause I don't have a lot of beadwork, they said that you pretty much have to have a fully beaded cape to have a chance...that's not my style, I thought about it once and even started beading a cape but I just couldn't do it...I'm southern style all the way...so I turned the back part of the cape that I finished beading into a purse...

Maybe, you should combine Northern Buckskin with Northern Cloth, and the same with the Southern styles. I dance both the Northern styles as I choose and when it's appropriate.

it's hard to say. i do enjoy watching. i guess opinions on whether cloth and buckskin should be separate. northern cloth and southern cloth separate?
