Breastplates

Okay ......here's my question with the new nickels that have come out lately what do you have at the ends of your breastplate?? Mine is cowrie shells but I thought about nickels or maybe thimbles on the next one. what's the easiest way to drill the holes?

my daughter has old first time buffalo head nickels..lol... on her breastplate.. it has been handed down for a few years now.. they make a nice sound when they hit your belt when walking or dancing..she gets alot of folks who want to see what is on the bottom and they are usually surprised when they realize they are early 1900's nickels.. :)
