I like southern, I'm a southern girl. I can really get my fringes popping and shawl swaying... BUT too fast and I feel like i'm in Fast Forward and too slow and its hard to get into the groove.

i'm northern myself, and that's basically what i prefer to dance to unless the southern has good songs going, then i'm there. i do listen to both the northern and southern, but southern to me can be iffy.

I love to dance to a good northern song for competition.. I am a southern cloth dancer but I like for the song to be a little more upbeat but you know those southern drums kick it out sometimes to and really get me in the mood...

Hey! It just depends on the song. I can jam to either...it's just the feel of it. Some southern songs are too slow...some northern are a lil' too fast, it does feel like you gotta put yourself in fast forward...lol :p But I like both, I don't really prefer one over the other. I like to listen to both, too. It just depends on the feel you get from it...and if you can dance good to it! :dancer:
