that's going to be a personal choice on size

Well... if you find that people want to pack their clothes in it then I would say it would be too big!

I think the body size helps to determine what size you need too. Most I have seen are not really big.. just enough to catch the eye and not be too heavy.. no bigger than a note book size.

Well, just remember what the purpose of the purse is for....ACCESSORIZING. "Leave the luggage for travel", and keep the purse for accessory purpose only :p

Ohhhh boy are u askin the wrong person here..LOL

Im one of them "bigger the better" peeps.. the last ones I made were at least a foot in diameter and fully beaded..but I believe that if your into competition dancing then you want to be eye catching, and these dayz it seems like everyone is trying to outdo everyone else (not that that's a good thing necessarily) But anywayz, It really depends on yer size, i make em big cuz im not a small person, 6 ft tall and chubby LOL, so a regular sized purse would look silly on me. But like runner said, you don't want one that you can dance with, then pack yer outfit in and go home..LOL. So keep goin till you feel it's enough!

*hint* - 2 foot round might be a little excessive..

I'd keep in mind the relative size of your matching accessories (hairties, belt, barettes, etc). If those things are fairly small then a super-large purse can throw the whole look out of whack. Balance and proportion are good things! :)

I see there is a big conflict on how big a crown should be, so what is the best size to do????
I know 1 foot tall is too big, so what is too small?

                                What is just right???
I know mine that I am making is going to be about 5 inches tall. What is everyone elses opinion?????

I was noticing that some places have 1-2 sometimes 3 powwows on a weekend. I was wondering how big are everbody's rez's. Mine is really small compared to some from Washington state and the Prairies. Our size is less than a thousand acres on four separate sites and our total population is slightly...

Yesterday I went up to Baker Bay for some supplies I needed and before I left, seeing I had a few dollars left (can't leave a bead store with any money, after all) I thought I'd get a belt buckle and try my hand at doing one of those for a change. They had some little bitty ones but nothing in between...

How big in diameter? Every now and then I wonder how large a rosette I could make and still have it look remotely good.

Since I am planning on going to the National Powwow, I am not going to complain about the $15.00 admission (for a one day pass) which will total for me and my family about $60.00 maybe more depending on our numbers and this is excluding food, lodging or travel. My question is... How much is too much...
