A few weeks ago I was given a pair of center seam Dyer Moccasins, just my size!!!! The were stiff from sitting and a bit worn, but lots of mink oil and working the leather has brought them around nicely. The comfy level is way up with them, and I'm not afraid to walk on gravel with them, with their fairly hard sole. BUT---I've been walking in them today, and they are VERY slick on the bottom. I about fell this afternoon in them, and that isn't what a 50 something Granny lady needs to do (I already spend too much time at the chio's office, LOL!!!) We're going to the Lebanon powwow tomorrow and I hoped to wear them. HOW do I make these things less slippery on the bottom, without messing them up?
