    Fans/ shawls

    Alright ladies - what kinds of fans do you carry? Hawk, Eagle(golden or bald), macaw,....
    I've got a hawk that my ex mother-in-law had painted and gave to me.
    then i've seen some people carry their fans in their left hands.?
    :Chatter Now about the shawl, I've heard many people say there are certain ways to carry your shawl, fringe in to honor your mother...
    Fringe turned out, fringe hidden....
    whta do you all know....:D

      I`ve got a question concerning a certain type of shawl fringe. It has this really shiny, almost sparkling/ metallic effect, does anybody know what that is?

      Hello y'all. I'm new to the boards, and have been dying to ask about shawl fringe length. I used to always go with the standard chainette length of 14", but have been noticing everyones fringes getting longer and longer. Some girls' fringe even touches the ground.

      No this isn't a question from me, lol. I'm just seeing what everybody thinks about this. Do you prefer ribbon fringe or shawl fringe on your shawls? Do you do all 4 sides or just 2 sides?

      I've only done 2 sides on my shawls but I have one shawl that is ribbon fringe and then another shawl...

      Hi everyone! I picked out some free fabric out of a box at a meeting this year, thinking....this fabric would be perfect for shawls.... Most of the fabric was in a length perfect for adult sized shawls, with some leftover, but other pieces looked like they would be a child's sized shawl.
