Beading just takes a lot of patience and practice. My first pair of moccasins took a while to make because I had trouble beading around the toe. Now that I have atleast a couple of pairs of moccs that I've made, going around the toes isn't too bad. One thing I do suggest is that if you haven't really done much beading, start out with smaller projects first. That way you can get the different beading techniques down pat before attempting to tackle a large project.
I'm beading water shoes for my new regalia and I had some trouble beading around the toe. but I dont have that problem with beading leather moccs, I guess because with water shoes they are already assembled and its hard to get the needle exactly where you want it to go.
